Coordination centre for integrated border management as European border management system mechanism

Abstract

In today's world, there are increasingly clear signs of attempts to revise the established rules of the world order, as a result of which Europe is currently at the stage of changing the security paradigm, and Ukraine is at the epicenter of new threats to border security, in particular in the military, humanitarian and economic spheres, it is extremely important to ensure and maintain an adequate level of border security to develop information cooperation, the main purpose of which is to achieve the goals of the state policy on border security through the organization of joint Taking into account the European experience, at the initial stage it should be focused on the preparation of a joint situational report on the main events on the state border of Ukraine, formulation of joint conclusions, and informing the subjects of integrated border management. The future plans include preparations to link Ukraine's information databases with EU databases, the introduction of European mechanisms for responding to unusual and crisis situations at the state border, and further improvement of strategic planning documents in the field of border security. The establishment of the Centre in Ukraine outlines the directions for further development of theory and practice in the field of public administration and opens a new stage in the implementation of border policy on Ukraine's path to European integration.
