Review and identification of violations

PROCEDURE
for identifying and reviewing information or complaints about violations of the requirements for compiling the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, and eliminating such violations

The editorial board constantly monitors compliance with the requirements for compiling the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, including by reviewing information and appeals regarding possible violations of the requirements of this Procedure in accordance with the following procedures.

1. Acceptance and registration of information and appeals:

Reports of violations may be anonymous or come from a specific person or institution.

For anonymous reports, it is important that they contain factual information about a specific violation.

2. Preliminary verification:

The information received is verified for accuracy and grounds for further consideration.

The period for such verification is limited to three working days, and for anonymous reports, up to 15 days.

3. Identification of violations:

The presence of violations of the requirements specified in the Procedure is analysed.

4. Consideration and elimination of violations:

Based on the verification, a decision is made on the presence of a violation.

Measures are taken to eliminate the identified violation, which should not exceed one month from the date of receipt of the information (appeal).

If the violation is confirmed, appropriate procedures may be initiated to bring those responsible to justice in accordance with the law.

Based on the results of the review of the information (appeal), a response to written non-anonymous reports (appeals) is provided within one month or no later than three working days after the identified violations have been remedied.

Independent identification of violations of the requirements of the Procedure for forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine is carried out by the editor-in-chief within 14 days after the publication of the next issue of the journal. If the editor-in-chief finds any violations, they'll take steps to fix them right away, but no later than 14 days after they're found.
