Migration sentiments of Transcarpathian youth their preconditions

Abstract

Migration processes have played and continue to play an extremely important role for Ukrainian society. Job search, study, internship, travel are the main prerequisites and causes of migration and migratory attitudes. Nevertheless, the migration processes of Ukrainian society have a vector of outflow of labor resources. Of particular concern are the migratory attitudes of young people, as they are one-way, ire it is about the «leakage» of young human capital. The article presents a study of emigration attitudes of Transcarpathian youth on the example of students of 2-3 courses of different faculties of Uzhgorod National University. The results of the study show a high percentage of young people who want to leave the country, and of particular concern is the fact that about 30.0% of respondents plan not to return. Among the main prerequisites for the emigration sentiments of the studied youth are the lack of prospects for the future, low financial capacity, low living standards, unfavorable conditions for the implementation of professional knowledge.
